How to use
- Simply plant your plant in as you would into any pot using good quality potting mix.
- Water from above the first time to help the potting mix settle in. Excess water gathers in the water-well at the bottom.
- The plant begins to wick up the water it needs from the water-well via the potting mix.
- Once the water-well at the bottom dries out it's time to begin topping up the water via the water-well at the bottom.
- Topping up via the water-well helps the plant get a good airing out between watering.
- Don't be afraid to let the water-well remain dry for a while as well - especially in cold and wet and dark areas when plants don't need as much water and the potting mix remains wetter longer.
- In hot and dry and sunny areas you may find the water-well needing topping up more often as the plant is more thirsty.
- Not only is it convenient and looks great, the pot is great way to see how much water is being used and to get to know your plants and their needs!
Delivery time frame for Sydney:
We deliver by hand across Sydney every Monday and Friday. Cut off for next day delivery is 5:00pm.
Your delivery will arrive within 2-4 business days after the order is placed.
Once your order is ready for delivery you will receive a notification via your chosen contact method, you will receive a notification to advise of estimated delivery timeframe and again once our delivery team is nearby. You will get a tracking number for all orders.

Same day delivery:
We offer same day delivery for orders placed by 11:00am to the local area within 10kms from our store, orders will be delivered by 6:00pm that day. Any orders placed after 11:00am will be delivered the following day. Please note same day delivery service is only available Monday to Friday (excl. public holiday)
A redelivery fee of $15.00 applies for deliveries scheduled and attempt was made to deliver and delivery was unable to be made.
(it is your responsibility to leave clear instructions for our drivers if you have any special requirements)
If you have specific delivery requirements please advise us, if you don’t advise us and no one is home and it is safe to do so your order will be left in a safe place, if it is unsafe your order will be returned to our Newtown Studio.

Shipping outside of Sydney
Shipping to states including NSW outside of Sydney is available except for NT, WA & TAS as these states have quarantine laws that don't allow us to directly ship there.
We now offer free National Shipping via Courier for orders over $120, use code- FREESHIPPING at checkout, total order must reach $120 to be eligible.
Please note due to the nature of sending live products and plant care some items may not be available for shipping due to size and weight, if an item appears unavailable on the website this indicates that unfortunately this isn't available for shipping.
Plant Daddy has partnered with Sendle to have your plants, pots and plant care delivered to you on time, safe and secure. Once your order has been placed and confirmed you will receive confirmation from Sendle once your order is ready for shipping. Generally once you place an order it is shipped within 2 business days. Please be patient as we are a small business we pack and send to you directly.
We send parcels via courier service Monday to Friday to limit the amount of time your plants will spend inside a box during transit orders placed over the weekend will be sent Monday.
It is your responsibly to read and understand our policy, we cannot be held responsible for delays to shipping from Sendle.
Any claims made for orders via Sendle will be reviewed with the help of Sendle however fee's for shipping via Sendle cannot be refunded.
If you have not left clear instructions or permission to leave the parcel it may be returned for re-delivery, please note we are not responsible for this or will be held liable- we will help as best we can.

The Plant Daddy journey began as a single Philodendron Rojo Congo in an up-cycled pot and has taken us from Newtown Markets to Manly, Moore Park and Summer Hill.
We've recently made the big Daddy decision to open our very first pop-up store in our home town of Newtown - just steps away from where it all started - and launch our online store, delivering lush indoor plants to the people of Sydney.
