Plant Daddy Celebrates Mardi Gras & World Pride Sydney 2023!
Plant Daddy is proud to announce our line up for the 45th Sydney Mardi Gras and World Pride Sydney 2023!
We have a jam packed schedule starting on Friday 17th February!
See below for key dates and activities-
Friday 17th - Sunday 19th February 12pm - 4pm
The Fabulous Felicity Frockaccino! Friday 2pm & Saturday 4pm!
Pride Garden at Plant Daddy Newtown is opening to the public with Workshops, Talks & entertainment, Sausage sizzle and light refreshments available.
At the rear of Plant Daddy access via Australia Street, Newtown.
To join us for workshops please arrive by 1pm for a 2pm start & register here !
Each session will run for approximately 1 hour.
Please keep an eye on weather as this is an outdoor event, we recommend wearing suitable attire and applying sunscreen.
Workshops and entertainment are by donation to Black Rainbow-
A non-profit that is 100% Indigenous owned and operated. Black Rainbow is premised by advocacy, leadership, and solutions that identify and address social and cultural determinants of wellbeing related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians who identify as LGBTIQA+SB. read more here

Understanding how to take care of your plants through out the year!
Bring yourself, a friend and anything you would like to share or learn.
Saturday 2pm- Workshop
Learn how to pot a plant! BYO pot/ vase or similar with hole- coffee cup size would be ideal, no bigger! We will supply the rest!
Sunday 2pm- Entertainment

Plant Daddy is sponsoring the Chinese Pride Float!
We’re here to help promote and increase the visibility and presence of the Chinese & Asian LGBTQIA+ Community, we advocate for love, freedom and equality for the wider LGBTQIA+ community to spread messages of hope, courage and strength!
You can watch this years 45th Mardi Gras parade on ABC TV, ABC iView and Triple J.

Plant Daddy joins AMEX Shop Small Pride Village
Find us outside in the plaza near The Oxford Hotel, Darlinghurst
We will be there Saturday & Sunday with our exclusive World Pride Merch as well as a beautiful range of wares you can purchase.
Our first ever time on Oxford Street so make sure to come say hi!
