Syngonium chiapense is a tropical aroid native to southern Mexico. Known for its thick, leathery leaves and upright juvenile growth, it adapts well to indoor conditions and develops a fuller, self-heading form with age.

Prefers moderate to high humidity. Benefits from occasional misting or a humid location.
Temperature:
18–28°C. Protect from drafts and cold drops below 12°C.

Well-draining aroid mix.
Fertiliser:
Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser.
Maintenance:
Wipe leaves to keep clean. Prune to shape or encourage fuller growth. Support optional as plant matures.
