Step-by-Step Guide

Pick the Right Pot
Select a new pot slightly larger than the current one with proper drainage holes to allow excess water flow.
Prepare the Pot
Add a handful of our premium potting mix to the bottom of the pot to create a healthy base.
Remove the Plant Carefully
If your plant is in a plastic nursery pot, gently squeeze it to release the plant. For sturdier pots, tilt and ease out your plant without damaging stems or roots.
Loosen the Roots
Gently massage the root ball to remove old soil and untangle any circling roots. Trim any damaged roots if needed.
Pot Your Plant
Place the plant into the prepared pot and hold it steady while filling the rest of the pot with fresh potting mix. Lightly press the soil around the roots to eliminate air pockets.
Water and Care
Water your plant thoroughly and place it in an appropriate spot with the right light. Avoid fertilising for a few weeks to let it settle, or opt for slow-release plant food from Plant Daddy when ready.
